African Starfish Cactus Flower

For a few days this week we could not figure out where the foul smell was coming from near the SciFi section at the library; it smelled like something died and was hiding in the stacks. Our volunteer John West from Corsicana was watering the plants and told us that the cactus plant was flowering. The foul order was coming from it. This is an African Starfish Cactus plant.
